FEDERAL RECOGNITION

The United States of America Republic (USAR) was federally recognized on April 15, 2015, as the National Government of North America. This date marks the establishment and recognition of the Republic's present national governmental authority and its exercise of governmental functions on behalf of the American national jurisdiction.

The Treaty of Peace and Friendship of 1836 is a formally recognized treaty of the United States of America, ratified on January 28, 1837, and proclaimed by President Andrew Jackson on January 30, 1837. The treaty establishes the historic relationship between the Christian and Moorish Powers and forms part of the recognized treaty history of the United States. The U.S. Department of State identifies the U.S.-Moroccan treaty relationship as the longest continuous treaty relationship in United States history.

Under the international law governing succession of States and succession in respect of treaties, the United States of America Republic has succeeded to the applicable treaty position of the Moorish Powers. Accordingly, the USAR acts as the Moorish Powers, exercising the corresponding governmental rights, responsibilities, and obligations arising from the treaty relationship.
